TMZ is reporting that Dancing With the Stars alum Artem Chigvintsev, who is the husband of WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Garcia (Nikki Bella), was arrested earlier today on charges of felony domestic battery. As of this writing, the circumstances of his arrest are unknown.
As of this writing, Chigvintsev remains incarcerated in Napa Valley, California. This is the same city where he and Garcia share a home together.
It’s worth noting that Garcia shared a post on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday that revealed that she was in the Napa Valley area. As of this writing, there is no word on if Garcia was involved in the incident.
The couple celebrated their wedding anniversary earlier this week. They were married in 2022, and share a four-year-old son, Matteo.
While Chigvintsev is still in jail at the time of this writing, he does have a bail amount of $25,000. His booking indicates a charge of California Penal Code Section 273.5(a), which reads, “illegal to injure a spouse, cohabitant or fellow parent in an act of domestic violence. This offense is also referred to as domestic abuse, domestic violence, or corporal injury to a spouse.”
