During a recent appearance on the “Insight” podcast, Bronson Reed discussed wrestling big men who shaped his career.
You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:
On the legends who shaped his career: “I do watch a lot of those guys, like I said Vader, Bam Bam, I even — more modern stuff, like I grew up, you know, my teenage years are sort of shaped by like a Samoa Joe.”
On his thoughts on Mark Henry: “I was a big fan of Mark Henry and what he did. I want to keep it that way as well where everything I do has a sort of violent nature behind it that’s a little more distinctive.”
In a recent interview with “PWInsider Elite,” former WWE Champion Raj Dhesi (Jinder Mahal) discussed how he made the most of his segment with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson on WWE RAW Day 1.
Dhesi mentioned that at that time, there were no plans for him to challenge Seth Rollins for the WWE Championship.
You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:
On how he viewed his WWE Raw Day 1 segment with The Rock: “You make the best of what you’re given and that’s exactly how I looked at that segment with The Rock. I wasn’t even actually returning. I was managing Indus Sher on Main Event. At that point, it wasn’t a plan for me to wrestle Seth [Rollins] a few weeks after that in a title match. It was just going to be a one-off promo, which went well and got a lot of love from the internet, Twitter, everywhere, and then [we] just carried that momentum into that championship match.”
On returning to wrestle on the independent scene: “I started from the independents and I’ll probably finish my career, whenever that is, not anytime soon, on the independents.”
Dhesi was released from his WWE contract back in April.
