Bully Ray Critiques Pat McAfee For ‘Forcing Stuff’ On Commentary

On a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray critiqued Pat McAfee’s commentary work on WWE RAW.

Ray said, “I don’t know about Pat lately. You know, people were b******g about Tony Romo on the last play of the Super Bowl, talking over, who was it? Jim Nantz? Talking over him. It’s almost like I feel [that] lately McAfee is throwing stuff in there where it doesn’t belong. He’s forcing stuff, and I never felt that way about Pat before.”

McAfee returned to the WWE broadcast team at the 2024 Royal Rumble pay-per-view event last month.

The former NFL athlete later became part of the new regular broadcast team on RAW with Michael Cole.
