Giulia is officially part of WWE SmackDown.

During Friday’s broadcast, General Manager Nick Aldis welcomed Giulia as the newest member of the SmackDown roster.

The announcement was made during a backstage segment featuring Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair, who had a brief staredown with Giulia.

Following the announcement, Giulia confirmed her status on social media, declaring her position at the head of the SmackDown table.

Tiffany Stratton successfully defended her WWE Women’s Championship against Nia Jax on this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown.

The match featured interference from Naomi and Jade Cargill, who fought into the crowd.

Stratton secured her victory with a kick to Jax’s face, followed by her Prettiest Moonsault Ever.

Stratton has held the title for 134 days after winning it by cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase on January 3.

JC Mateo (formerly Jeff Cobb) made a successful WWE in-ring debut by defeating LA Knight on Friday night’s episode of SmackDown.

Mateo claimed victory over Knight with a scoop powerslam.

Former WWE Women’s Champion Carmella (Leah Van Dale) left WWE in early 2025 after her contract was not renewed.

Carmella last wrestled in March 2023 and had been sidelined since 2022 due to health issues following the birth of her child in November 2023.

During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Carmella discussed her departure from WWE due to her inability to perform. She said,

“I wish I could tell you, I really don’t know. I know that before, there was some sort of, I don’t know if it was an unwritten rule that you weren’t going to get released if you were injured. Now, they’re releasing people left and right without clearing them. Obviously, this injury didn’t happen in the ring for me, so it’s a different scenario. It’s not like I was out skydiving or being reckless by any means. I really don’t know. I know in the past they have brought people back who weren’t cleared to fill other roles, my husband [Corey Graves] being one of them. He had several concussions and was given the opportunity to be a commentator. I do think it’s unfortunate that I wasn’t given an alternate avenue to succeed or at least try because I do have tenure. I’ve done some shit in the company. I feel like I understand the ins and outs of the business. Who knows if it was the injury.”
