Chad Gable couldn’t be happier to see El Grande Americano as WWE Speed Champion following the luchador’s victory earlier this month.
El Grande Americano became the fourth WWE Speed Champion by defeating Dragon Lee, earning another victory over a luchador.
On Twitter, the new champion shared a message that translated into English reads:
“I want to publicly thank the WWE Universe for the support they have given me on my journey to earn my FIRST WWE singles title! Even though I’ve been doing this for 40 years or more, I’ve been made to feel like this is all new to me. Let’s celebrate!!”
Gable shared Americano’s post and sent his congratulations to his ‘amigo,’ and said that the luchador’s title win is richly deserved.
