After the breakup of Chad Gable, Otis, Maxxine Dupri and Akira Tozawa, it was unclear what would happen with the naming of that group sans Gable, as well as Gable’s new crew with The Creed Brothers. In fact, it was even an EWN Question of the Day recently.

After this week’s episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, we now have an answer for both stables.

Early in the night, Gable was backstage interrupting Ivy Nile and Maxxine Dupri’s conversation (wherein Nile was trying to make excuses for how Brutus Creed and Julius Creed had been acting lately with their heel turn). Gable dismissed the Alpha Academy moniker and told Dupri that she, Otis and Tozawa can keep the name, as he doesn’t even want it anymore.

Later, while heading to the ring for their main event six-man tag team match against The Wyatt Sicks, Gable cut a quick promo and referred to his group as “American Made.”

While that could have just been a nickname or phrasing for that specific promo, Michael Cole and Pat McAfee continued on commentary to refer to that group by that collective name, confirming this will be the faction’s title going forward.

What do you think of these names? Should Otis and company been given something else instead of keeping Alpha Academy? Is ‘American Made’ good enough, or does it just make you think of Hulk Hogan’s old theme? Drop your thoughts in the comments below!
