During a recent appearance on “The Wrestling Classic” podcast, Chelsea Green teased that we will eventually see footage from the day she was crowned the inaugural WWE Women’s United States Champion.
Green defeated Michin to win the title at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event XXXVII on December 14.

On the day she won the WWE Women’s US Title: “There’s a lot about that day that you are gonna end up seeing. I can’t tell you why, but you will. There’s some fun things that we have coming out, you know with our partnership with Netflix and things like that. So the day, a lot of you’ll be seeing and leading up to it, you’ll kind of be following possibly my journey or my emotions and things like that.”
On taking the time to let her title win sink in: “The day was really like a normal day. I didn’t have much time to truly just digest the moment. So I took the time after I won the championship to really just like let it sink in, I invited all my family back, my in-laws back, we took pictures. I was able to bring my sister back into the locker room and just hang out.”

On what fans can expect from him as NXT Champion: “Good matches. Dominance. Someone who is going to spearhead the division to the next level. I’m really big on bringing up NXT to being the third brand. I’m very big on that. I believe we can finally get to that level with me at the forefront of all of this.”
On this being the era of NXT Platinum: “There has been NXT, NXT Gold, NXT 2.0, White and Gold, Black and Gold, this is Platinum. This is NXT Platinum. This is Oba Femi’s era. This is my time to reign, and it’s going to be special.”
