Lyra Valkyria has vowed to avenge Bayley by taking down Becky Lynch at WWE Backlash 2025.
On this week’s episode of WWE RAW, Lynch confessed to ambushing Bayley at WrestleMania 41 — a betrayal that led to the announcement of a WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship match between Lynch and Valkyria at Backlash.
In a promo shared by WWE on Tuesday, Valkyria didn’t hold back in calling out Lynch. She said,
“Did you see how fast she ran from me in that ring? She couldn’t have gotten out of there quicker. She’s always been like this — running her mouth, stepping on people, and then disappearing. I just never saw it before because I had stars in my eyes.”
She added, “Even back in NXT, she called me a beacon of hope. She made me feel like I mattered. But she was just waiting for the perfect moment to stab us in the back — and she picked WrestleMania to do it. She shattered my dream, and she destroyed Bayley’s.”
Turning her message to Bayley, Valkyria said, “If you’re watching this, you don’t have to respond to my texts. Just know that I’m truly sorry. And at Backlash, I’m going to take down that throat-cutting, backstabbing liar — for both of us.”
