The Motor City Machine Guns debuted on Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown, defeating A-Town Down Under and Los Garzas in tag team action.
Alex Shelley even made a TNA reference following their debut in a new Instagram clip shared by WWE.
Chris Sabin said, “Very fight night. That’s how you do it.”
Shelley responded, “I might even say, that’s how you make an IMPACT!”

CM Punk provided commentary last night for Cage Fury Fighting Championship 137 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During the UFC Fight Pass broadcast, Punk made a reference to the Motor City Machine Guns, who debuted on WWE SmackDown.
Punk said, “Here’s a little shout-out to my friends, the Motor City Machine Guns. They probably won’t hear this.”

WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis also congratulated the Motor City Machine Guns on their WWE debut.
Aldis tweeted, “A tremendous full-circle moment with two of my favorite people in this industry. Real ones already know, but MCMG are about to go global, and nobody deserves it more.”
