CM Punk is reportedly seeking to restructure his current deal with WWE after returning to the promotion last November at Survivor Series.
When Ibou of WrestlePurists was asked how long Punk’s deal is for, it was said that the former AEW & WWE World Champion has a three-year deal.
“I can tell you right now that he is in the process of trying to get his deal restructured from a money and years standpoint.”
Ibou added that Punk’s stance is that if all goes well, he will never leave WWE and that the Best in the World has been using the word “forever.”
It was added that when Punk’s career in the ring winds down, he hopes to transition to a role with NXT, where he has already given advice since returning to WWE.
Punk returned to WWE last November after close to a decade away and has since feuded with Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins and Drew McIntyre.
At WWE SummerSlam 2024, Punk will make his return to the ring to face McIntyre with Rollins at the special guest referee.
