CM Punk has confirmed that he’ll be appearing at WrestleMania 40.
On this week’s episode of WWE RAW from Chicago, IL, Punk came out for a promo segment. During his promo, he teased future matches with Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Drew McIntyre.
Drew McIntyre eventually came out and interrupted Punk, with the latter telling Drew to come to the ring and say what he needed to say to his face. McIntyre noted that the last time the two men were in the ring together, he stomped Punk’s arm apart. He went on to say that he refused to get into the ring in Chicago with Punk because he knows the city well and Punk may have a weapon on him.
Seth Rollins wound up coming out to say it would be ironic if Punk commentated his WWE World Heavyweight Championship defense against McIntyre at the pay-per-view event. This whole 27 minute segment led to it being announced that CM Punk would be on commentary for the McIntyre/Rollins match and will make them both interesting, something they’ve failed to do on their own.
