During a recent appearance on the “Flagrant” podcast, Cody Rhodes shared his thoughts on his brother Dustin Rhodes’ feelings regarding his WWE persona Goldust, noting that he is “extremely proud” of it.
Dustin portrayed the Goldust character for nearly his entire tenure in WWE, with only a few short intervals when he performed as himself.
Cody said, “It really depends on the day you ask him. I know he’s extremely proud of it. One of the cooler moments when I realized, no matter how bombastic and ridiculous and ‘out there’ the Goldust character was, I watched that Roddy Piper match … it was one of the bigger stories of WrestleMania 12. And my dad, who hadn’t talked to Dustin at that point for three of four years, I could see him just smiling. Ear-to-ear. And he was so happy he got that moment. And he went out and did it on his own.”
Last week, Kevin Nash mentioned that he could be going to WWE NXT in December. Nash has previously visited NXT to guide emerging talents.
However, during a recent edition of the “Kliq This” podcast, Nash noted that his trip to NXT has not been confirmed due to a shoulder injury.
Nash said, “I can’t even sit on a fu**ing toilet I’m in so much pain. So stay tuned. I’ll definitely show up at an NXT taping if I’m not being operated on during that time because it looks like I’ve got to get my shoulder operated on. Something popped on my shoulder training on Tuesday. It didn’t bleed out. It’s sore as f**k. I was using a Cybex row machine. It’s a selectorized machine. It stacks 200. I had 170 on it. I was on maybe rep eight or nine. I felt it and I heard something pop.”
On behalf of everyone here at eWn, we wish Kevin Nash a speedy recovery.
