During a recent appearance on ESPN’s First Take, Cody Rhodes revealed that he’s planning to give Travis Scott a receipt for his slap at WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto. This came after John Cena turned heel.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On the reaction to the slap: “I had made the mistake, a lot of people texted me after concerned because my eardrum burst and the next day I had the full tommy boy spot on my face. I told everybody, ‘He didn’t get me at all.’ Then, I realized there was a nice fan cam shot of how difficult it is.”

On Scott: “Travis Scott, for as talented as he is, and he’s an incredibly talented guy. I even bought his kicks, I got a pair for Liberty as well. Travis Scott uh, kinda sucks. He kind of sucks. Triple H announced he’s coming to WrestleMania, I’ll be looking for what we call in the wrestling business a little bit of a receipt. Payback.”

Jey Uso recently recalled how he and his brother Jimmy faced backlash from young fans after their father, Rikishi, was revealed as the person who ran over “Stone Cold” Steve Austin on WWE television. The infamous storyline unfolded in 2000, when Rikishi was identified as Austin’s mystery attacker from the 1999 Survivor Series, following months of suspense. Jey shared his memories of that time during an appearance on the “No-Contest Wrestling Podcast.” He said,

“When my dad ran over Stone Cold, I was like 11 to 13. We were boxing every day because kids were like, ‘Your dad sucks. Your dad ran over Stone Cold.’ We were about that.”

He continued, “The only [thing] that protected us is we were hella’ good at football, so they kind of didn’t mess with us.”
