Kimber Lee’s trial on charges of DUI is scheduled to begin next week.
The trial will commence on February 10 at 8:30 PM EST in Highlands County Court, with jury selection occurring that day. A hearing will take place on February 5 before the trial.
The Maryland Supreme Court has removed obstacles to the “ring boys” lawsuit against WWE.
In December, a judge had imposed a stay on the case pending the highest court’s decision on the Child Victims Act. This law eliminates the statute of limitations and permits victims to sue “non-perpetrator defendants whose negligence may have led to child sex abuse.”
According to the Baltimore Sun, the Maryland Supreme Court upheld the law’s constitutionality, thereby lifting the statute of limitations for civil cases. This allows the lawsuit filed by five former ring boys against WWE to advance.
