At the start of this week’s episode of WWE RAW, World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER had a promo segment opposite The Judgment Day, wherein he reaffirmed that he will retain his title over Finn Balor at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. This segment was interrupted by Damian Priest, who seeks to get revenge on Balor for his interferences in Priest’s matches against GUNTHER from SummerSlam and Survivor Series: WarGames.
As a result of the chaos that ensued with the big brawl that spurned out of this, as well as the track record of problems between these three, RAW General Manager Adam Pearce has changed the match to now also include The Archer of Infamy, as it will now be a Triple Threat match with GUNTHER vs. Finn Balor vs. Damian Priest.
Pearce also stated that next week on Monday Night RAW, Balor and JD McDonagh will have to defend the World Tag Team Championships against War Raiders Erik & Ivar, with the rest of The Judgment Day banned from ringside.
