Dominik Mysterio made it very clear that he didn’t need any help at WrestleMania 41 when he captured the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
On a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Mysterio recalled celebrating his win after WWE’s two-night pay-per-view event. He said,
“I did one long glance, and out of the corner of my eye I saw my mom, and the only thing I did was shove the title directly in her face. Because I’m pretty sure none of them thought I could do it.”
When asked if his gesture was an ‘FU’ to his mom, Dominik made it clear that “It totally was.”
Mysterio won the gold from Bron Breakker in a fatal four-way match that included PENTA and Mysterio’s ally Finn Balor.
