WWE Hall of Famer and convicted felon Donald Trump arrived over an hour late to his final rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Monday night. He didn’t arrive until after midnight EST, which led to many people leaving.
As the remaining crowd was waiting, the campaign played a video of Trump’s “Battle of the Billionaires” match at WrestleMania for 10 minutes straight. The crowd appeared to be confused as they waited for their candidate to arrive.
The WrestleMania 23 match saw Umaga (accompanied by Vince McMahon and his handler Armando Alejandro Estrada) facing off against Bobby Lashley (accompanied by Donald Trump).
“Stone Cold” Steve Austin served as the special guest referee for the match.
