On Tuesday night’s episode of WWE NXT, a significant crossover between WWE and TNA Wrestling was initiated.

TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace was revealed as Roxanne Perez’s opponent at NXT Battleground next month.

Former AEW wrestler Ethan Page also made his WWE NXT debut by attacking Trick Williams during the closing moments of the show.

Following this development, former WWE Champion and TNA World Champion Drew McIntyre shared his thoughts on the crossover via social media.

McIntyre posted a photo of himself holding the TNA World Title, which he previously held in 2016, accompanied by the caption, “Doors open both ways.”

Reigning TNA World Champion Moose later responded, “DREW i see where your Title obsession Began. If this is something you truly want. Have your Boss call my Boss. The outcome will be the same #TrustTheSystem #TheSystem”

On a recent edition of the “Battleground” podcast, WWE Superstar Tiffany Stratton shared her opinion on TNA wrestlers crossing over and appearing in WWE.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On TNA stars appearing in WWE: “Yeah, I think it’s so cool that we have people coming over from different promotions and stuff like that. I definitely feel like it brings more eyes on the company, for sure, but it also kind of broadens our roster. I feel like Roxanne Perez vs. Jordynne Grace is a match people have in their dream matches before and they’re both in separate companies and the fact that maybe the possibility is there to get other talents from different companies. I feel like it opens up so many different dream match opportunities and stuff like that. So I think it’s very cool.”

On wrestlers from other promotions she’d like to face: “I do love what Toni Storm is doing. I respect so much of her in-ring work and as well as Deonna Purrazzo.”
