Former WWE Superstar EC3 has made his views on Vince McMahon abundantly clear with his recent comments on the 79-year-old billionaire.
EC3 returned to WWE with a promising NXT run in 2018 but after an underwhelming call-up, he was released from the main roster in 2020.
On a recent edition of the “Wrestle Binge” podcast, EC3 shared his regrets that he didn’t speak up more during this run with WWE. He said,
“Probably on the second run, being miserable, half-concussed, not barging into Vince’s office and cutting a promo on him that would either have gotten me fired or pushed. Probably the only real big regret I have, but it’s hard to have regrets because if you regret something that happened that was supposed to happen so this could happen, it was part of your journey, so you shouldn’t have them.”
EC3 also took aim at McMahon’s appearance and the hush-money scandal that resulted in the billionaire’s exit from WWE. He said,
“I would have much rather gotten fired after cutting some scathing promo on this degenerate, bad, looney old man, way-past-his-prime, f***ing fake face, Botoxed-brain, f***ing s**t side part, sadistic se*ter.”
EC3 has since joined the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). He held the promotion’s World Championship for a year before losing the gold to Thom Latimer in August 2024.
