Recently, WWE Superstar Asuka shared her concern about fans having romantic feelings for her, adding that she’s been feeling in danger.
Thankfully, Asuka has since shared that WWE and TKO are taking action to protect her, and she has been speaking with police about her safety.
On a recent edition of the “Wrestling Outlaws” podcast, EC3 shared his take on this situation that is affecting his former colleague. He said,
“I mean, it’s horrible and I hope she’s safe and protected. She’s such a sweetheart and such a nice person. It’s hard to stomach that, but there are people that take things to extreme. One thing, gentlemen, and the ladies that may be watching, it’s important about the relationships and setting the boundaries, so she has clearly set her boundaries. I would recommend everybody respect them.”
EC3 recalled a time in his youth when his father taught him to respect people’s personal lives, a lesson many should learn. He said,
“When I was growing up, big baseball fan, and saw a player, my father said, ‘Don’t approach him while he’s eating. He’ll take a picture with you afterwards. And then I did that and he did it. Show that respect to people and not invade their space so much, but it’s hard to quell immediate excitement, so it’s really case by case.”
Asuka has been out of action since May 2024 with an injury, though WWE has recently been discussing creative ideas for her return to programming.
