Another match has been added to the card for the upcoming WWE Worlds Collide 2025 crossover event with Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, set to go down June 7, 2025 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.
Randomly announced during WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event 39, it will be El Hijo del Vikingo facing off against Chad Gable — notably, not El Grande Americano — who will face off in what is sure to be one of the best matches to steal the show.
Obviously, there is no storyline to this match yet, either, which seems to be the case going for this event in general. However, there is still time for a feud to develop and for WWE to explain why they’re going with Gable instead of the luchador legend and WWE Speed Champion El Grande Americano.
As a reminder, this event will be broadcast on WWE’s YouTube channel in both English and Spanish, as opposed to the traditional Peacock and Netflix platforms of other pay-per-view events.
