Will Ospreay stated in a recent interview that he aimed to break the record for the largest gate at a women’s wrestling show in Europe by the end of the year. According to a report from Fightful Select, Pro Wrestling EVE — the current record holder with an audience of 1,000 — is actively working to achieve that goal.
EVE is in the planning stages for the event and is currently searching for a venue, with hopes of holding the show in November. There’s also potential for the event to be a crossover show.
Former WWE Superstar Cora Jade, now competing under her previous ring name Elayna Black, is set to return to the ring at Atomic Legacy Wrestling’s Star Spangled Slammer event this summer. ALW announced on Friday that Black will face Izzy Moreno at the show, which takes place on July 27th in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Since her release from WWE in early May, Black has lined up several independent bookings, including an appearance at Black Label Pro on June 14th.
