Shawn Michaels and Latin Lover recently reunited to recreate a memorable photo from 1997 during the WWE x AAA Worlds Collide event. The original picture was taken during Latin Lover’s brief stint with WWE, and the new version was shared on social media by AAA’s talent director.

Latin Lover captioned the post with the following,

“After 28 years, I recreated the photo with @ShawnMichaels. The years go by, but the passion for wrestling never fades. Reunions that are worth gold. #shawnmichaels #legend #luchalibre #worldscollide @luchalibreaaa @wwe”

Latin Lover’s WWE run spanned just a few months in early 1997, where he competed in three matches, including the Royal Rumble and a six-man tag team bout on the March 10th episode of RAW.

The Miz had nothing but praise for Ron “R-Truth” Killings during a recent interview, reflecting on their time together in WWE. Killings has been at the center of attention in the wrestling world following reports of his WWE departure — news that quickly shifted when he re-signed and made a surprise return at Money in the Bank 2025.

Speaking on “The Rich Eisen Show” in an interview recorded last Thursday, The Miz highlighted both their partnership as a tag team and Killings’ contributions inside and outside the ring. He emphasized Truth’s impact on the WWE locker room, his unique charisma, and the lasting legacy he’s built throughout his career. He said,

“I’ve had some of my greatest moments in a ring with R-Truth. Winning the Tag Team Titles, standing on a ladder at WrestleMania and literally hugging him and literally looking him in the eyes and saying ‘This moment is yours.’ Cause it was. We built that moment for R-Truth.”

He continued, “And he is an amazing talent, not just inside the ring, but if you listen to any of his music on Spotify or Amazon, if you want to support him, definitely go and get his music, because it’s incredible. He’s an incredible human being, in the locker room, not just in the ring. And what you see outside the ring, he’s a positive aura. And I don’t think we’ve seen the last of R-Truth, Ron Killings. I think that he’s an immense talent, and we’ll see. And I think the future is bright for him.”

Elijah, formerly known as Elias in WWE, believes his recent surprise appearances have proven his ability to captivate crowds anywhere in the world.

Since his WWE release in September 2023, Elijah has resurfaced with two unannounced showings on NXT in 2025. During an appearance on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, he reflected on the crowd’s reaction to his return. He said,

“The fans’ reaction was awesome — it was definitely one of those moments where I felt like, yeah, these are my people. They started chanting ‘welcome home,’ and that meant a lot. I love creating moments like that. I’m confident I can do that in any arena, anywhere, anytime.”

Elijah has also made waves in TNA Wrestling, recently challenging Trick Williams for the TNA World Championship at the Against All Odds pay-per-view event.
