WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff is not under a WWE Legends contract, despite his recent appearances for the promotion as part of WWE NXT.
Bischoff appeared on last week’s show in a segment with Trick Williams and Ridge Holland, one week after appearing on NXT via a video segment.
On a recent edition of his “83 Weeks” podcast, Bischoff shared that, despite these appearances, he’s not under a Legends deal. He said,
“I don’t even have a Legends agreement with WWE. I did two WWE episodes. One on NXT and one for the WWE on the A&E Network. Then 48 hours later, I’m on an MLW show, who, by the way, was in a lawsuit with WWE.”
“I don’t have a written agreement with anybody. I don’t even have a handshake deal with anybody.”
Bischoff joined WWE in 2022 as RAW’s General Manager and would remain full-time with the promotion until 2005 and has made sporadic appearances since.
AEW President Tony Khan recently made his views clear on Bischoff after years of digs by the WWE Hall of Famer. Click here to find out more.
