In a recent appearance on “The Takedown” podcast, former WWE NXT World Champion Ethan Page praised his onscreen rival, Trick Williams.
Page lost the WWE NXT World Title to Williams this past Tuesday on NXT TV.

On Trick Williams: “I mean, he’s blowing my mind. That’s my honest assessment. Three years in, I don’t know dude, three years in, you asked me to do what he’s doing? I probably would have panicked and freaked out. But, I also would’ve been 19 years old three years in, not 30, so it’s a little different. I think he is doing exceptional for someone with such little experience. Someone was telling me like a crazy stat, I think he’s had like a hundred matches and then they looked up how many matches I’ve had and I’ve had over a thousand.”
On how he’s different from Williams: “So, we’re completely different when it comes to that, yet, arguably in the same position, I just have so much more experience. So, I don’t envy him whatsoever to have to learn on the job, especially knowing how important this job is. I mean, for me personally, it’s the job I’ve been fighting for my entire life. Three years in to be the same spot as me, I mean, he should be proud of himself, especially with how well he’s doing. He connects well with the crowd, freak athlete, looks great. Has that it factor star quality. If you throw him in the deep end, I’m sure he’ll learn how to swim, he seems like one of those. I’ll give credit where it’s due.”
During a recent appearance on “The Wrestling Classic” podcast, Bron Breakker expressed his lifelong aspiration to join WWE, mentioning that he was prepared to transition to the company following his departure from the NFL.
After signing with the Baltimore Ravens in 2020 as an undrafted free agent but ultimately being released a few months later, the former WWE Intercontinental Champion reflected on his choice to join WWE.

On his WWE dreams growing up: “I always loved it. This was always my calling. This was always what I wanted to do. I’ve been a fan of it ever since I can remember. I just loved it, I just loved WWE. It fits like a glove; it’s like something I was born to do since the beginning of time.”
On his football career and joining WWE after being cut: “I think everybody was a little bit on the fence with me because I still had some gas left in the tank for football because I was still had opportunities to go back to the NFL and play, and… not that I didn’t want to. When I got released from the Ravens it sort of kind of broke my heart a little bit with football because I had given everything to it from an effort and dedication; I had put so much effort into making it there. NFL’s a business and I understand that… I had opportunities to keep playing. I was on the fence about it, I made that decision with my family but my heart was ready for WWE. It was time.”
