Shinsuke Nakamura has been a key figure in WWE since he transitioned from NJPW eight years ago to advance his career in the United States.
Although 2024 hasn’t been his strongest year to date, it seems Nakamura will participate in this week’s SmackDown tapings.
Nakamura’s last appearance on WWE television was during the April 22nd episode of RAW, where he lost to Sheamus.
Nakamura’s 2024 record includes one pay-per-view event, eight televised matches, four dark matches, and 38 non-televised live event appearances, resulting in a low win/loss rate.
Pwinsider is reporting that Nakamura is expected to be at the October 25th edition of SmackDown in Brooklyn, NY. WWE will present a live episode on Friday night, followed by taping next week’s go-home edition of SmackDown in preparation for the 2024 Crown Jewel pay-per-view event in Saudi Arabia.
Nakamura will return to NOAH at Nippon Budokan on New Year’s Day in 2025.
