TNA World Champion Joe Hendry made a surprise appearance on WrestleMania 41 (Night Two), stepping in as Randy Orton’s surprise opponent after Kevin Owens was pulled due to injury.
Hendry managed to get in a little offense, but Orton made quick work of the TNA World Champion, putting him away with his signature DDT and RKO.
Cory Hays from PW Nexus is reporting that Jeff Hardy, who is under contract with TNA Wrestling, was considered as a potential opponent for Orton at WrestleMania 41.
This consideration highlights the ongoing partnership between WWE and TNA Wrestling, facilitating such crossover appearances.
