Two more competitors have earned spots for the 2025 Money in the Bank ladder matches on WWE Friday Night SmackDown (May 23) to further fill up the field in the battle for this year’s briefcases.
The opening match of this episode was the Triple Threat qualifier for a women’s entry, wherein Giulia defeated Charlotte Flair and Zelina Vega by pinning the women’s United States champion with a Northern Lights Bomb.

Later in the show, the men’s Triple Threat qualifier took place between Aleister Black, LA Knight and Shinsuke Nakamura. LA Knight had said that it isn’t spooky season, but championship season, and it seems he’s right as he was able to score the win over Nakamura after throwing Black out of the ring and effectively stealing a pin.
It was announced that next week, the final SmackDown women’s division spot will be determined between Jade Cargill, Nia Jax, and Naomi.
On the men’s side, The Miz supposedly gave up his potential spot in a qualifier to Carmelo Hayes, who will face Jacob Fatu and Andrade.
This brings the updated lineup for this year’s set of Money in the Bank ladder matches to the following:
- Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match: LA Knight vs Solo Sikoa vs (Carmelo Hayes, Jacob Fatu, or Andrade) vs 3 Raw Superstars TBD
- Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Alexa Bliss vs Giulia vs Roxanne Perez vs Rhea Ripley vs (Jade Cargill, Naomi, or Nia Jax) vs 1 Raw Superstar TBD
