All the buzz over Giulia coming to WWE has proved to certainly not be much ado about nothing, as she was victorious over Chelsea Green in her debut match on tonight’s season premiere of WWE NXT as part of WWE Week.

After the match, CM Punk tweeted in response, stating that she had an impressive debut and reaching out to Ava about an idea he wanted to run by her.
Later, backstage in her office, Ava praised Giulia for her victory with some help from a returning Funaki, acting as Giulia’s translator—a welcome surprise to see SmackDown’s number one announcer, indeed!

Later still, Ava was speaking on the phone in her office and then informed Stevie Turner and Robert Stone that she had spoken to CM Punk, who will actually be making a special announcement on next week’s NXT, prior to his already scheduled appearance on the CW debut of NXT coming October 1st in Chicago.
