Giulia was eager to return to Dream Star Fighting Marigold, but her commitments to WWE shifted her attention elsewhere.
During a recent interview with Sports Graphic Number, Marigold’s founder, Rossy Ogawa, revealed that Giulia wished to participate in Nanae Takahashi’s retirement match on May 24. He said,
“At first, Giulia wanted to come, so we considered having her as her opponent, but it happened to coincide with a pay-per-view match over there (at WWE).”
That match is scheduled for the May 23rd episode of SmackDown, where Giulia will compete against Charlotte Flair and Zelina Vega in a Money in the Bank qualifier bout.
With her WWE schedule already set, Giulia had no option but to remain in the U.S.
