During the latest episode of WWE RAW, it was confirmed that Pat McAfee will battle GUNTHER at the upcoming Backlash 2025 pay-per-view event.
On Twitter, GUNTHER found the idea of McAfee being any kind of threat hilarious and made this clear with a tweet reading “😂💀.”
On a recent edition of his “The Pat McAfee Show,” Pat fired back at GUNTHER’s mocking ahead of their match next month. He said,
“So, If he wants to go and get a job, I think I’m gonna work on some of those as well — because you can turn the knockout punch on, which I have. I have titanium in here, and this thing has been around a couple times.”
“What if I didn’t know in my preparation going through this chop world… maybe I’ve got an OK one as well. That’s what we’re gonna find out.”
The match will be McAfee’s sixth match for WWE and his first singles match since battling The Miz at WWE WrestleMania 39 in 2023.
