Coming back from a commercial break, the Monday Night RAW commentary team found themselves across the desk from an angry GUNTHER, who has lost all of his composure to coincide with losing his World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41.
This came about not too long after Jey Uso’s celebration in the ring with Sami Zayn and Jimmy Uso, so all the pomp and circumstance surrounding that may have been the impetus for The Ring General to rear his head.
Whatever the case, GUNTHER lashed out at both Michael Cole and Pat McAfee, and was particularly set off when Cole said “I’m not the one who tapped out.”
GUNTHER then went after Cole, putting him in a rear-naked chokehold until McAfee came to the rescue and struck him. However, McAfee was the next victim, being choked out for an even longer time frame until officials were able to separate them.

Cole and others helped McAfee to the back, leading into another commercial break.
After the break, Adam Pearce told Cole to take the rest of the night off, but Cole refused to let a bully prevent him from doing his job and stood up for the idea that the commentary team should be allowed to have opinions and speak their minds. Cole returned to ringside, joined by Joe Tessitore.
