It was casually mentioned by Wes Lee on this week’s episode of WWE NXT that the winner of the men’s Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline will get their title shot at NXT New Year’s Evil 2025.
This is the first mentioning that New Year’s Evil would be returning next year, even though it was an easy guess based on how it has become a continuing special event.
At this time, no official announcement has been made, nor any specification of when this will air. It can be assumed that the event will take place on January 7, 2025, as that is the first Tuesday night of the year. However, there have been times where WWE has held off another week or so. Stay tuned for updates on this as they are announced.
