Janel Grant’s legal team has been inundated with calls from other alleged victims of Vince McMahon, it has been claimed this week.
Grant is suing McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE, and has alleged that McMahon was sexually abusive and trafficked her to other men in WWE.
During a press conference, Grant’s attorney Ann Callis said that they have received an “influx of calls” from other alleged victims of the ex-WWE Chairman.
Callis added that Janel is a survivor of “incompressible abuse” who now suffers from suicidal ideation due to what has allegedly happened. Grant is unable to leave her home for weeks at a time.
Callis added that they have not seen the upcoming Mr. McMahon docuseries by Netflix.
Addressing Grant not being a part of the six-part series, Callis said that Janel deserves to tell her own story in her own way at the right time.
When asked if WWE had approached Grant, Callis said there was some outreach in the beginning but nothing as of late.
Callis was also asked as to why Grant stayed with McMahon and said that Janel was coerced and felt she had no other choice.
Grant was also met with hostility by WWE employees, Callis claims. McMahon’s team have always denied that the relationship was not consensual.
