During a recent appearance on Logan Paul’s “Impaulsive” podcast, Jelly Roll commended Austin Theory for making him look like a “rockstar” during their segment at WWE SummerSlam 2024.
The segment saw Jelly Roll deliver a chokeslam to Theory.
Jelly Roll praised Austin Theory for making him look good during their encounter at WWE SummerSlam this year. Their segment ended with the singer giving Theory a chokeslam.
He said, “Austin Theory is a superhero. He is a f**king hero is what he is. I’m not in the business, so I don’t have to carry kayfabe. That dude made me look like a f**king rockstar. I love that dude, and will forever. He told me that whole night, ‘I got you. Trust me.’ I sat down with R-Truth and Miz earlier in the night and was like, ‘If we do this right, we should have a top three viral moment.’ You can ask Miz, I did the work. I went back there and really got with Miz and spent some time back there. He is the f**king dude. R-Truth, too. I felt like I was in better hands than Allstate. I felt so comfortable with them.”
The Motor City Machine Guns debuted on Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown, defeating A-Town Down Under and Los Garzas in tag team action.
In a recent interview with Metro, Jey Uso expressed his desire to reunite with his brother Jimmy for a match against Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin.
Jey said, “I would like to – and if I did go with the Motor City Machine Guns. I would like, I would like for my brother to do [it with me]. I would like to do it with Jimmy because I feel like with Jimmy -Sami [Zayn] is easy too, but I feel like with Jimmy, man, we are the best tag team in the world. We’ve done everything. But I feel like if we did have a comeback, man, I would like to run with those guys [Shelley and Sabin], a couple guys from NXT, maybe the Lucha Bros. But they gotta walk through this door.”
