Jimmy Uso might be in hot water with his dad after calling Rikishi’s iconic “I did it for The Rock” promo the worst of all time.
Jimmy and his brother Jey appeared on a recent episode of Complex’s “GOAT Talk,” where they weighed in on some of the WOATs — Worst of All Time — across different categories.
When asked about the worst wrestling promo ever, Jimmy didn’t hesitate. He said,
“WOAT promo of all time? ‘I did it’ — you know what time it is. ‘I did it. I did it for The Rock.’ Yeah.”
Jey quickly chimed in, joking that their dad was “about to beat our ass,” while Jimmy laughed and added, “I love pops though, we love him to death.”
The promo they referenced is from Rikishi’s infamous heel turn, where he confessed to running over “Stone Cold” Steve Austin at Survivor Series 1999, claiming he did it to help The Rock succeed.
