John Cena faced Randy Orton in what was likely their last match together at WWE Backlash: St. Louis, where The Last Real Champion retained the Undisputed WWE Title.
During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Cena reflected on the matchup. He said,
“On the WWE side, we’re just taking it one at a time. We did our last one in St. Louis. I had my last match with Randy Orton, and that was pretty cool to kind of put a close to that 25-year rivalry. So as every chapter happens, it’s a different feeling for everyone.”
Cena has 24 dates left on his retirement tour. He will retire in December.
