WWE’s next pay-per-view event will be Night of Champions taking place at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in just over 20 days (June 28, 2025) which means it’s time to start building the card.

Already announced for the show is that the finals of the King & Queen of the Ring tournaments will take place. On top of that, it seems we have our main event for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Opening this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, CM Punk interrupted a promo John Cena was cutting in order to lambast him over his attitude over the past few months and challenge him to a title match, giving Cena the option to pick the date, but suggesting they battle it out for the belt tonight in Phoenix. Cena naturally declined that offer to wrestle tonight and said that if Punk wants the match, he’s going to have to follow him to Saudi Arabia for Night of Champions.

For what it’s worth, CM Punk was previously very critical of the Saudi Arabia partnership, once telling The Miz to “Go suck a blood money covered d*ck in Saudi Arabia you f*cking dork.”

Technically speaking, this match hasn’t been made 100% set in stone as of this publication, but it’s obviously expected that there will be some follow-up announcement from Raw General Manager Adam Pearce that says it is official.
