John Cena isn’t giving anything away — but he’s definitely hinting at something big.
Set to defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against longtime rival CM Punk at WWE Night of Champions 2025, Cena addressed the upcoming showdown during the WWE SummerSlam Kickoff Show. He said,
“If you’re enjoying what we’re doing on TV right now, then you have to watch Night of Champions — it’s going to be effing great. If you liked SmackDown, I promise you’ll like the next one even more. We’re cooking up something special. Don’t miss it.”
Despite Michael Cole’s attempts to pry out more details, Cena kept things close to the vest, refusing to spoil what’s ahead in the weeks leading up to the highly anticipated title clash.
