Nia Jax led the charge to see Jonathan Coachman removed as a commentator on Monday Night RAW, the sports broadcaster claimed this week.
Coachman, aka The Coach, returned to WWE in January 2018 but left the company and the XFL in 2021, claiming he’d yet to be reimbursed for travel expenses.
On a recent edition of the “Behind the Turnbuckle: The Last Word” podcast, Coachman spoke about Nia’s alleged efforts against him. He said,
“She hates me, by the way, Nia Jax hates me… Nobody liked the fact that they brought me back. For whatever reason—I’m not going to use the jealous word—it is what it is. Nia Jax led the charge. Renee, Renee, Renee in Coach’s spot. She didn’t like me, for whatever reason.”
Coachman also claimed that upon returning to WWE, he told Vince McMahon about four golf events that he didn’t want to miss, to which McMahon agreed.
Despite this, McMahon was furious after Coachman attended the second event instead of RAW, the former RAW commentator added.
Jax was released from WWE in 2021 and returned last year. She is the reigning WWE Women’s Champion after dethroning Bayley at SummerSlam.
