On Monday’s episode of WWE RAW, Liv Morgan suffered an injury during her match with Kairi Sane, a setback that is expected to keep Morgan out of action for months.
On Twitter, Jonathan Coachman argued that Morgan’s injury and others could’ve been prevented had WWE not ditched most house shows. He said,
“Liv’s injury brings up exactly what we talked about yesterday. Lack of house show = possible injury because your cardio can’t possibly be top shelf AND it limits the amount you can do in a match. Body not used to non-stop bumping.
“You’re not going to do house shows and your body is not used to bumping four or five days a week and you are not going to train at the Performance Center. You are opening yourself up to injuries.”
In recent years, WWE has significantly cut back on untelevised live events as part of cost-cutting measures by WWE’s parent company TKO.
Cutting back on these events has spawned a backlash among some fans as ticket prices for televised events continue to get more expensive.
Morgan is one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, leaving fans to fear that yet another reign will be ended due to an injury.
Emergency wrestling take: rewatched 2 episodes of LFG last night. My first call right now if it was me would be to the Undertaker. Reasons below in video. 👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾
