During a recent appearance on the “Notsam Wrestling” podcast, Karrion Kross recalled his return to WWE as part of SmackDown in 2022. He said,
“It was unbelievable. It was the perfect way to be reintroduced – I think – I couldn’t have asked for anything better than that.”
Less than a year after his release, Kross and Scarlett were brought back to WWE, the first of several rehirings made by Triple H.
Kross’ first major feud back saw him work with Drew McIntyre, a feud Kross felt he needed to bulk up for. He said,
“I got real big and then I got – what I felt – was too big. Put on a little bit of weight, relatively quickly, I put on like an extra fifteen pounds over like two or three months and I didn’t like it.”
Kross shared that he felt like he got too big which limited his movement in the ring, but now believes he is the perfect weight he needs to be.
