Vince McMahon may no longer be the unquestionable king of the wrestling industry, but Kevin Nash still considers McMahon as a friend.
Over the years, many wrestlers have used ‘father figure’ to describe McMahon, whose legacy has been the subject of Netflix’s Mr. McMahon docuseries.
On a recent edition of his “Kliq This” podcast, Nash spoke about his former boss and those who consider McMahon to be like a father. He said,
“Undertaker makes the reference that he was a father figure. [John] Cena makes a reference that he was a father figure. Anybody that had that kind of a relationship with him, at that highest level… I really only had that for a year. I’d go there sometimes, I’d want to see Vince, I’d just be showing up at TV, and there’d be this f***ing line of people… I’d get to cut the line, knock on the door.”
Later on in the podcast, Nash spoke about McMahon again and shared that he still considers the controversial ex-Chairman a friend. He said,
“He was my friend, he’s still my friend.”
McMahon is facing a lawsuit by Janel Grant, who alleges she was sexually trafficked during her WWE run, as well as a federal investigation into him.
