In a recent interview with India Today, WWE Superstar Kevin Owens stated that a feud with CM Punk is only a matter of time and will likely happen sooner rather than later.
CM Punk made his return to WWE at the 2023 Survivor Series: WarGames pay-per-view event, a couple of months following his unceremonious departure from AEW.
Owens said, “We’re both guys that probably, you know, have done things their own way, in a sense. But there’s probably a lot that we’re very different on as well, so I think it’s a little bit of both. I’m sure we’ll end up in the ring together at some point. It seems, uh, like there’s no way we wouldn’t.”
Punk will compete in the Men’s Royal Rumble match at the 2024 Royal Rumble pay-per-view event tomorrow. Owens will challenge Logan Paul for the WWE United States Championship at the show.
