The New Day’s Kofi Kingston has declared the faction as the greatest group of all time and isn’t interested in hearing otherwise from the fans.
The group recently marked a decade on WWE programming after first debuting on a November 2014 edition of WWE SmackDown.
On a recent edition of the “In The Kliq” podcast, Kingston discussed The New Day’s influence and had some high praise for his group. He said,
“So we are the greatest tag team to ever do this. Sometimes you’re supposed to be humble and dance around it, but if you look at our accolades, man — we just had this shirt come out for the 10-year anniversary, it had all, not even all of our accolades, but we filled the back of the shirt with the accolades that we have achieved.
“If I’m being honest, I don’t really care about what the fans remember about it, because I already know. I already know what we are… New Day is going to go down as the greatest tag team of all time.”
On the latest episode of WWE RAW, Kingston and Woods turned on Big E, saying they wanted nothing to do with their ‘brother’ anymore.
