Konnan believes Cody Rhodes will defeat Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40, and he recently took to his “Keepin’ It 100” podcast to explain why.
The AAA booker says Rhodes will capture the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 40 (Night Two) because the company has taken The Rock out of the picture. He said,
“I think the reason [Cody] is gonna win is because I don’t think they would’ve taken Rock out of the picture if Cody wasn’t gonna win. If he doesn’t win, those same people that were pissed off that Rock was there are going to go ballistic.”
Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns will compete at WrestleMania 40, where they will team with Seth Rollins & The Rock respectively in tag-team action on night one. Rhodes and Reigns will then face off for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 40 (Night Two).
