WWE brought back Saturday Night’s Main Event XXXVII on December 14, but Konnan claims it was nothing short of “underwhelming.”
During a recent edition of his “Keepin’ It 100” podcast, the AAA booker stated that Saturday Night’s Main Event XXXVII lacked its usual must-see aura.
Konnan said, “I was underwhelmed. They didn’t do any promos, they didn’t do any run-ins, they didn’t do anything that would make you want to see, like if you were a new viewer and you hadn’t seen it in a while, anything that would make you want to see ‘Raw.’ Maybe they’re saving everything for Netflix, but I was very underwhelmed.”
Saturday Night’s Main Event XXXVII featured Cody Rhodes defending the Undisputed WWE Title against Kevin Owens in the main event.
