Over the weekend, WWE organized several King and Queen of the Ring tournament matches at live events instead of televising them.
LA Knight defended WWE’s decision on Twitter, claiming that it adds an element of fun to the experience. He wrote,
“I appreciate everyone saying this match should’ve been on TV. But, no need to throw live event crowds under the bus. Live events are where the @WWE roster has as much fun as possible. Not only having a great match, but a match with HUGE stakes makes the live events more fun!”

On a recent edition of the “Battleground” podcast, Jade Cargill discussed her experience performing in front of European audiences during WWE’s recent tour.
The tour included a stop in Lyon, France, where she and Bianca Belair became the Women’s Tag Team Champions.
Cargill said, “It was so many feelings. It’s memorable, it’s flooring. Oh my gosh, it’s humbling, it’s electrifying. They’re so many words I could put to that. The crowd in France, and in Europe in general — Italy, Austria — it’s crazy, it’s electrifying. It makes you want to go out there and do more. I remember at the live shows I didn’t even want to leave. It was so many people who were so thankful for us to be there because we don’t do those type of tours all the time. And at one point security had to, ‘Let’s go, we gotta go, we gotta go.’ Because the fans were so thankful. It shows you why this all is worth it.”
And finally, Naomi posted a picture of herself backstage with former women’s champion Jazz on Twitter, displaying her admiration and respect for her veteran talent.
Naomi wrote, “[Jazz] ran so I could walk and glow. Thank you for everything you deserve all the flowers.”
