During a recent appearance on the “Ring the Belle” podcast, Lita responded to reports suggesting that she was being considered for a match during a recent NXT episode at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA.
Lita would have been part of the 10-woman tag team, which included Giulia, Jordynne Grace, Kelani Jordan, Stephanie Vaquer & Zaria against Cora Jade, Fatal Influence & Roxanne Perez.
Lita said, “That would have been a good fit. Two queens of extreme in one building. Hmmmm.”
When asked about fans wanting to see Lita and Francine together, she replied, “I’m with an X, she’s with an E.”
During a recent edition of his “Wrestling With Freddie” podcast, former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. evaluated The New Day turning heel on Big E last week on WWE RAW.
You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:
On The New Day turning heel: “We got a heel New Day, which is cool, but the segment was so genuinely disappointing — not in a bad way. I mean this as a compliment, because of the way they treated Big E.”
On Big E’s vulnerability: “It was the best acting that Big E has ever put out there. To see a big, huge guy like that be vulnerable — it just hurts. … To show that you’ve been wounded by the people you love takes a lot of courage and a lot of guys, and I respected his work a lot in this segment.”
