The second woman to advance in the tournament to crown the inaugural WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion has been decided as Lyra Valkyria defeated Ivy Nile and Zelina Vega in a Triple Threat first-round match on the December 9, 2024 edition of WWE Monday Night RAW.
Valkyria joins Dakota Kai in the semifinals, who had previously beaten Shayna Baszler and Katana Chance. Valkyria’s opponent in the semifinals has yet to be settled, but she will face either Alba Fyre, Kairi Sane, or Natalya in round two.
WWE has still also yet to reveal when the finals of the tournament will take place, though the running theory is RAW’s Netflix debut on January 6, 2025.
